Great example:
Nope, they have a special beautiful (and of course expensive) little tea pot that is the only thing worth brewing tea in.
I kindly informed her that it is called the perfect tea maker, and certainly nothing is better than perfection.
I love Teavana teas for that alone they get some stars
Teavana is a wonderful place to get reliably delicious loose-leaf teas, and I happily visit every month or so. The atmosphere is amiable and the store smells amazing, naturally. But if you do visit, be very sure you know what you want, or at the very least what you plan to spend. The employees are clearly working to get you to buy as much as possible, and will very carefully avoid mentioning prices until it is time to ring up. Be prepared to say no to a lot of things they insist that you will need.
-Overall, run in get your tea and try not to listen to the people trying to make your $40 tea purchase into a $100 purchase.
Next visit, again I was asked what I brew tea with, this time I proudly exclaimed that I have the perfect tea maker thinking I would pass the test.....
But yes, they are pushy.
Good food and excellent service, but pricey for the area
The expense of the tea is well worth the taste and a little loose leaf can go a long way. Staff are always happy to brew a cup of something for a customer to test.
Started with some free samples, tasted really good. Went inside the store, tasted some more and decided to buy some. The store woman was so pushy that she wanted me to buy everything that she liked.. she goes like "if you don't buy that you are not going to get what you tasted"!!! shut up!!! I know what I want!!!. She was pushing hard to sell me a metal tin to store the tea for 10 bucks!!! really!!! and she went like "if you don't buy this you tea is going to go bad, its up to you" ... then she kept a long horse face as she billed my purchase as I did not buy $1000 worth of tea. Maybe I'll buy online, but I am never ever going to this store again EVER!!!. No wonder the store is always empty. Idiots!
And don't get them started if you by chance are still using real sugar, because if it is not super expensive rock sugar you might as well drink toilet water.
I once brewed with a tea ball, they told me that was crap and my tea would be terrible. so I listened, got the perfect tea maker as was suggested.
